Meet Rosco — today’s Dog of the Day from Phoenix, AZ. 🧡

This 6-year-old Shepherd Mix has been waiting since December 2021 for his forever home. His rescue shut down and he’s been living in a kennel ever since — that’s over 3.5 years without a family. But despite everything he’s been through, Rosco is still full of love and ready to find his person.

Rosco is mellow, potty trained, and has perfect house manners. He knows sit, down, and shake, takes treats gently, and is non-reactive on walks — unfazed by other dogs, joggers, or cyclists. His absolute favourite thing in the world? Water. Whether it’s splashing in a kiddie pool, chasing the hose, or going for a swim, Rosco is all in.

He’s been friendly with larger dogs but a proper intro is required. He’d do best in an adult-only home without small dogs or cats. Rosco is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

After more than 3.5 years of waiting, he deserves a home where he can finally relax and be loved. A dog is a bestie. 🐶
