Meet Rosco — today’s Dog of the Day, coming to you from Phoenix, AZ. 🧡

This 6-year-old Shepherd Mix has been waiting since December 2021 for his forever home. His rescue shut down, and he’s been living in a kennel ever since — over 3.5 years without a family. But despite everything he’s been through, Rosco is still full of love and ready to find his person.

Rosco is mellow, house-trained, and has perfect manners. He knows sit, down, and shake, takes treats gently, and is non-reactive on walks — completely unfazed by other dogs, joggers, or cyclists. His absolute favourite thing in the world? Water. Splashing in a kiddie pool, chasing the hose, going for a swim — Rosco is all in.

He does best in an adult-only home without small dogs or cats. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped — and more than ready.

After 3.5 years of waiting, Rosco deserves a home where he can finally relax and be loved. A dog is a bestie. 🐶
